Drop Off and Pick Up For Bottled Water Location

A drop off and pick up location has been set up in Newport for those wishing to donate bottled water and other supplies. This is also the place where those who are in need of bottled water can come to pick up those supplies. That site is in the parking lot behind Krystal on West Broadway in Newport.

Newport Utilities is stressing the importance of conserving water usage at this time. Some residents in Newport have been left without water after the flooding on Friday. A boil order is in effect till further notice for all residents serviced by Newport Utilities that currently do have water. Water should be boiled for three minutes before used for drinking, making ice, food preparation, or brushing teeth.
