Fight Leads to Arrest

Also Friday, police were called to Wal-Mart in Newport for a fight involving several females. At the time 19 year-old Raven Pack was fighting in the parking lot with 25 year old Mariah Gibson. Several others tried to break up the fight, including Nikki Gibson who was then punched in the face by Raven Pack. Pack, who was arrested for assault on Friday night told police she was not the one who escalated the fight. However, video surfaced on Sunday of the complete incident and after reviewing the footage, police concluded Pack was the one responsible.
