Funeral Arrangements Made For Pigeon Forge Firefighter
The Tennessee Highway patrol has released their report on the accident that claimed the life of a Pigeon Forge Firefighter Sunday night. According to the report, 19 year old Aaron Huss was driving his motorcycle westbound on I-40 at mile marker 404.2 around 8:15 Sunday night when he somehow lost control of his motorcycle and it overturned. Huss was thrown off the bike and landed under the guardrail. The Pigeon Forge Fire department had originally reported Huss as being 20 years old, but he was actually just 19 as he would not have turned 20 until October 12.
Funeral arrangements have now been made. Family will accept friends from 12-2PM Saturday, July 20 in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for a 3PM graveside service. A Celebration Of Life will be held at 5:30pm Saturday at Summit Church in Pigeon Forge. Condolences can be made to the family online at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
