Good Hope Road To Close For Construction Project

Newport Utilities announced Thursday a construction project that will result in the closing of Good Hope Road between Hillcrest and through to the Secluded River subdivision. Newport Utilities will begin a waterline project in that area starting Monday, June 3. This construction is expected to take several weeks. A detour using Carpenter Road will be necessary during the time that Good Hope Road is closed.
