GPD Identified Victim & Suspect In Stabbing

Police in Greeneville have identified both the victim and the suspect in a fatal stabbing that happened Thursday night. Police had been called around 9pm Thursday to Sunset Blvd where they found a man with upper body stab wounds that was unresponsive. The man was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later. Friday morning the Greeneville Police Department identified the victim as 30-year-old Isaiah Q. Bowden of Blountville. The suspect is in custody. He has been identified as Perry Schoolfield Jr., of Dewitt, Virginia. No further information is being released as this is an ongoing investigation.
