Grainger Co Man Indicted In Overdose Death In Jefferson County

A Grainger County man is being charged with the death of a Jefferson County woman. The Jefferson County Grand Jury on Thursday returned an indictment of second degree murder against 45 year old Richie Allen Farrow of Rutledge. Farrow’s murder charge is in regards to a 35 year old female who died from an overdose on January 31. Farrow was already incarcerated in the Grainger County Jail on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest. Farrow was transferred to the Jefferson County Detention Center in Dandridge where he is being held without bond.
