Greeneville HS Student Indentified Victim In White Pine Shooting

We now know the identities of all of the victims in that fatal shooting that happened at the Pilot Truck Stop in White Pine Monday afternoon. Shots were fired as two parents were exchanging custody of their child at the truck stop at exit 4 off I-81. 48 year old Christopher Ray Welch of Harriman was killed in that shooting. Two others were wounded…a 58 year old man and a 16 year old girl. The 58 year old man we learned earlier this week is Reverend Kenny Cook from the Mosheim Church Of God. The 16 year old girl has now been identified as Greeneville High school student Teagan Welch. Teachers and fellow students led a prayer vigil on Wednesday night at the high school. Both Kenny Cook and Teagan Welch are in critical condition at UT Medical Center…The White Pine Police Department and the TBI are still investigating that shooting.
