Hamblen County K-9 Wins third Place In Nationwide Competition
And the results are in…Aftermath’s nationwide K-9 Unit competition ended on Monday and one of the local k-9 units was one of the winners. Hamblen County k-9 Nexus was named as the 3rd place winner in Tier 3 of the competition. With that third place finish, Sheriff Chad Mullins says the Hamblen County Sheriff’s office will be receiving a $500 check from Aftermath to be used for maintenance for K-9 Nexus. Cocke County, White Pine, Jefferson City and Greene County K-9 units also entered the competition. You can see the full list of winners at aftermath.com.
