Hit & Run Leads to DUI & Drug Arrest

Tuesday night Morristown police were dispatched to East Morris Blvd. in reference to a hit and run involving a green 1997 Honda Accord. The driver of that vehicle that ran was 37 year old Amber Walker of Bulls Gap. Walker had slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet…she failed three different sobriety tests. Walker was arrested for DUI…a search of her vehicle turned up pills and more pills. Officers found Gabapentin and several different dosages of Clonazepam. Walker did not have a prescription for any of the pills. In addition to DUI…she is also charged with schedule IV &V narcotics possession.
