Intoxicated Man With Gun Arrested

An intoxicated man with a loaded gun was arrested early Wednesday in the Mcdonald’s parking lot. Officer Lindsey Laughter had been called to that scene about a possible drunk driver who told a customer he had a gun. Officer Laughter found the man sitting in a 2006 white Toyota with the engine running. The man was identified as 29 year old Christopher Moir (Moy-er) who plainly appeared to be intoxicated. Laughter retrieved a loaded Glock 19 from Moir’s waistband. After failing field sobriety tests and one full and one half empty tall boy were found in the car…he was arrested for driving under the influence, violation of the open container law and possession of a hand gun while under the influence.
