Jefferson County Man’s Arrest For Assault Leads To Drug Charges
Jefferson County Sheriff’s were dispatched Monday afternoon to an address on Blue Springs Road…about a disturbance involving a white male with a gun. That man was identified as Justin Dalton…police were able to get him into custody, charging him with aggravated assault. During a search of his person, deputies found 7 grams of Meth…plus a search of Dalton’s vehicle revealed a Sig Sauer 9mm located behind the air vent.
Dalton was transported to the Jefferson County Detention Center and upon arrival was found to have a pack of contraband stuffed inside his rectum. In that pack was approximately 14 Grams of Meth , 2 grams of Marijuana, 17.5 misc pills, and 14 Suboxone strips still packaged. In addition to the aggravated assault charge, Dalton faces charges of possession of meth with intent to sell…3 counts of possession of schedule IV narcotics…possession of schedule VI with intent to sell…possession of schedule V drugs…possession of a handgun by a felon…and introduction of contraband into a penal facility. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
