Jordan Allen Trial Moved Back To Jan 2025

The Greene County teenager accused of killing his younger rother and his grandmother was in court Wednesday morning in Greene County. Now 18, Jordan Allen was 16 when he killed his 7 year old brother Jessie Allen and his grandmother nearly two years ago in April of 2022. Jordan Allen is accused of bludgeoning the two to death and is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The hearing Wednesday was a motions hearing. The public defender for Allen asked the judge to have some photos of the crime scene either removed of have certain parts blacked out. Todd Estep tole the judge that because Jessie Allen was only 7 years old when he was killed the photos could e to gruesome for the jury. He stated that others were necessary. The judge did not rule on that motion. The judge did approve a motion to delay the trial. Jordan Allen was set to go on trial in May, the judge agreed to move the trial back to next January in 2025.
