Law Enforcement Hiring Fair June 30

The Newport police department is still looking for their next police officer. Application packets can be picked up at the Newport Police Department or you can download them from the City of Newport’s webpage. Application packets must be turned back in at the Newport Police Department.

If a future in law enforcement is in your plans, an event coming up in Knoxville is something you may want to attend. On Thursday June 30th, there will be a Law Enforcement Job Fair in Knoxville at the Knoxville Expo Center. More than 40 local law enforcement agencies will be at this hiring event. Agencies that currently have openings for troopers, deputies, officers, investigators and corrections officers will be on hand taking applications. The time for that event on June 30th will be 5-8pm. The Knoxville Expo Center is located at 5441 Clinton Highway.
