Lex Wine & Liquors Customers Have Confrontation

Police were called to the Lex Wine and Liquors location on West Broadway in Newport Monday evening, Management there stated that two unknown white male subjects got into a confrontation in the store. One of those men pushed the other into a display of Jack Daniel’s bottles. That display then fell into other bottles of liquor. The two male subjects fled before police arrived. The incident cost the store more than $450 in inventory. A picture of the man who pushed the other into the bottles is posted on the Newport Police Dept.’s Facebook Page.
