Lynn Ramsey, Director Of Cocke County Partnership, Completes Prestigious Training
A Cocke County resident is receiving some recognition for completing some very prestigious training. The US Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday that Cocke County Partnership Director Lynn Ramsey has completed the professional development program from the US Chamber of Commerce called the Institute for Organization Management. Lynn completed 96 credit hours of course instruction in non-profit management and now holds the distinction of being an IOM graduate. Since it began in 1921, the Institute program has been educating tens of thousands of association, chamber, and other nonprofit leaders on how to build stronger organizations, better serve their members and become strong business advocates. The Institute’s curriculum consists of four weeklong sessions at four different university locations across the country. According to the US Chamber of Commerce, Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their industries and organizations and those individuals like Lynn Ramsey have the knowledge, skills, and dedication necessary to achieve professional and organizational success in chamber industries such as the Cocke County Partnership. Lynn Ramsey is one of only about 1,000 individuals who attend that institute each year.
