Man Arrested For Domestic Assault

A Cocke County man was arrested Saturday after assaulting his granddaughter. According to the Cocke County sheriff’s department, Tony Gooderham of Cosby became upset with his granddaughter after she asked him to move his truck. Gooderham, who appeared intoxicated, had allegedly then struck the victim across the face. Gooderham, who lives in a shed behind the home where the incident occurred, was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Assault. Gooderham was also heard by deputies making threatening statements about the victim.
