Man Attacked On Harper Circle

A Newport man was transported to the Newport Medical Center Wednesday night after being attacked at a home on Harper Circle. Police found 31 year old Derek Raleigh sitting outside the home bleeding from the left side of his head. Raleigh told police he believed he had blacked out and could not hear out of his left ear after being attacked. Witnesses told police that the man who hit Raleigh was 48 year old Terry Pack. One of the female witnesses stated that she had been in a previous relationship with Pack and believed that was the reason for the attack. Pack is now wanted on a warrant for Aggravated Assault.
