Man Walks Away With $500 Tool
On Saturday, a man stole a $500 tool from Cocke County Co-op. Co-op management stated that a man identified as 27 year old Justin Kinsler had stolen a $500 Milwaukee impact driver. The theft happened when Kinsler came in with another man who was making a tire purchase. While the associate and the other man were completing the tire transaction, Kinsler could be seen on video footage walking around out of sight and then is seen walking outside carrying the impact driver. He then came ack in without it and is not seen returning with it for the rest of the video footage. The associate noticed the impact driver was missing when he had to use a larger driver to complete a job, at which point he informed the store manager about the theft. A short while later, Kinsler was spotted in front of Ace Hardware. When confronted he stated he did not intentionally steal it, but told police where it was. The impact driver was found and Kinsler was arrested for theft under $1,000.
