Man Wanted In Hamblen County Arrested In California
A man listed as missing in Grainger County has now been located in California. 59 year old Randall Turner had been reported as missing last week after he had not been seen since February 27. According to the Hamblen County Sheriff’s office, Turner was wanted in Hamblen County for failure to appear and on sex crime charges. Those exact charges were not revealed. On Monday, Turner was found and arrested by US Marshals in Los Angeles. Hamblen County Sheriff Chad Mullins says the Grainger County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force worked with his department to find Turner. The US Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force was who arrested Turner Monday in LA.
Turner is now awaiting extradition back to Hamblen County to face his charges.
