Megan Boswell Handed Down Another Sentence
Megan Boswell, the tri-cities area woman convicted of killing her 15 month old daughter, has now been handed down another sentence. Boswell was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in February of this year for the death of her daughter Evelyn back in December of 2019. On Friday, a Sullivan County court sentenced Boswell to 33 years in prison for the non-murder counts she was found guilty of. Those includeed
Aggravated Child Abuse
Aggravated child neglect
Tampering with evidence
11 counts of false report
Abuse of a corpse
The judge on Friday ruled that her sentences would be served consecutively. Boswell is serving her life sentence in West Tennessee. If she were to ever be released, she would then serve the 33 year sentence handed down on Friday at a facility in Nashville.
