Missing Jefferson County Teen Has Been Found Safe

The search is over for a missing Jefferson County teenager after he was found safe over the weekend. Jason Sands Jr. was reported missing by his father…Jason Sands Sr. on Sunday February 6th. The elder Sands telling police his son had not been seen since Friday night February 4th at a school in Strawberry Plains. Police had went to his girlfriend’s house in Jefferson County looking for the 15 year old boy. Police found his cell phone but Jason Sands Jr. was not at that home. Family members say that Jason was found safe on Sunday…they say he was found in Grainger County. No details about where the boy was found have been released.
