Morristown Police Called to Greeneville Community Hospital

The Greeneville Community Hospital called Morristown police over the weekend to report a man with a stab wound to the throat…the attack happening in Morristown. The victim, 40 year old Joshua Wells, told medical personnel that he was stabbed by his girlfriend in an attempt to kill him. Police say due to the current medical condition of Wells and previous complications from an overdose on March 11th, he was not able to articulate to medical personnel exactly what occurred or when the attack happened, other than the last few days. A detective from the Morristown police department was sent to the Greeneville hospital and is currently investigating that case. No arrest has been made as a suspect has yet to be identified.
