New Emergency Mass Notification System To Be Tested Today
This morning, the Cocke County Emergency Management Agency will be conducting their first test of the new mass notification system for the county. This system, called “Hyper-Reach” will send emergency notifications out to those who have signed up for the service. If you have not signed up to receive notifications of emergencies, such as weather or missing persons, or other emergency situations, go to the Cocke County Emergency Management Agency’s Facebook page and click on the link to register. It’s very easy and takes just a few moments. All landline phones are automatically registered for weather alerts. The test this morning will be at 11:11am. Only those who have registered for the service will receive the test alert.
