No Injuries In Three Vehicle Crash

No one was injured in a three vehicle crash on Cosby Hwy in Newport Tuesday morning. 76 year old Judy Forrest of Dandridge told police she had pulled out of the Bryant Town Shopping Center in her 2004 Ford Expedition, turning left attempting to go North on Cosby Hwy, but her rakes failed and she turned back towards the shopping center parking lot, going across the southbound lanes and clipping the rear of the 1995 truck driven y Michael Click of Newport. Then at a higher rate of speed she drove ack into the Bryant Town parking lot, and crashed into a 2015 Kia Sorento that was sitting in the drive-thru at Bryant Town Donuts. The driver of that vehicle was Hannah Etherton of Newport. That vehicle and Judy Forrest’s Expedition had to be towed due to excessive damage…the truck on Cosby Hwy was able to be driven from the scene. Once again there were no injuries.
