Non-Profits Deadline To Apply For ARP Funds Approaching

Many things have been affected by the Covid pandemic which is in its 21st month. Many businesses have been hard hit but non-profits have been hit especially hard during this time. However there are funds available to help out these non-profits through the American Rescue Plan. However, Cocke County Mayor Crystal Ottinger warns that the deadline to apply for ARP funds is quickly approaching, in fact it is this Wednesday, December 29th. Ottinger says that the county is still under interim rules regarding those funds and those rules could change quickly. So non-profit applications for ARP funds need to be submitted to the county mayor’s office no later than this Wednesday.
