Police Make Arrest At Motel 6

Police were called over the weekend to the Motel 6 in Newport, the motel was reporting a shirtless male subject running around the property. The desk clerk told police the man had jumped out of a second story window, ran across the pool cover, and was currently running up and down the hallways. Security cameras showed the man running down a hallway of the second floor, trying to get into peoples rooms. Officers found the man, 25 year old Logan Black, crouched down behind a bed in an open room. Black made several statements to officers that did not make sense, for instance stating that ” the building was whispering” to him. Black appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine and was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
