Police Respond To Motel 6 Find Extensive Damage

Newport police responded to the Motel 6 on Heritage Blvd about someone breaking things inside room 209. No one answered that room door, so motel management made entry into the room and discovered extensive damages to the bathroom mirror, the tv, the air conditioning unit, and alcohol spilled through the room. A male subject was located asleep on the bed. That man first gave his identity as Patrick Adams, but did not meet the description of that individual. He then claimed his name was Adam Sisk, but no such person could be found. A prescription pill bottle found on the floor of the room gave the man’s identification as Patrick Centers. The 30 year old was wanted for probation violation in Cocke County. He was arrested and charged with Identity Theft. No word on whether charges were filed regarding the damage to the motel room.
