Ramp Festival This Weekend

The Del Rio Ramp Festival is this weekend. The Brushy Mountain Bear Hunters Club will again host the Del Rio Ramp Festival on Saturday from 11-3 at the Club’s Pavilion at the base of Round Mountain….

There will be lots of good food as usual…in fact…on the menu will be ramps and eggs, ramps and potatoes, bacon, soup beans, cornbread, BBQ, and hot dogs…chips, and drinks of course as well. Now while the event is free to everyone…there is a charge for the food. The Bear Hunters Club will be helping out with parking… handicapped access and restrooms are available at the pavillion site. There will be music provided by The Stanley Black Big Creek Bluegrass Band.

The Bear Club Pavilion is located at the end of Highway 107 just below the start up to Round Mountain. If you’re coming from Newport on 25/70 , turn right at the Post Office in DelRio onto route 107 and take it till it ends and you will see the ramp festival.
