Red Cross and NFL Promote Blood Donations
January is National Blood Donor Month and the American Red Cross is urging donors to make an appointment to give lifesaving blood or platelets now to help keep the blood supply strong. As an incentive to give blood, for the sixth year in a row the Red Cross and the National Football League (NFL) are partnering together to thank those who give blood during National Blood Donor Month by automatically registering each donor for a chance to win an exciting Super Bowl LIX giveaway. This is for those who donate between now and January 26.
The trip includes access to day-of in-stadium pre- game activities, tickets to the official Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare, three-night hotel accommodations (Feb. 7-10, 2025), plus a $1,000 gift card for expenses.
The Red Cross will have a blood donation event in Morristown on Thursday, January 16 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Morristown-Hamblen Library, 417 W Main St.
