Rocky Top Graffix Victim Of Burglary

Newport police were called to Rocky Top Graffix…the owner stating that someone had burglarized his business. The burglary happened sometime between 6:30 Wednesday evening and 6:30 Thursday morning. The suspect broke the front glass door out to gain entry, then stole the cash register from the front counter. Responding officers noted a stone block on the floor of the business that was used to break the glass on the front door. Rocky Top Graffix says there was approx…$250 in cash in the cash register, which itself was worth over $500. The cost of the front door $1500. Police are investigating but have no suspects at this time.
