SCSO Seizes Illegal Drugs In Narcotics Sting

The Sevier County Sheriff’s office on Tuesday announced the seizure of a sizeable amount of drugs. Sheriff’ Michael Hodges says that two narcotics search warrants were executed in the Seymour area Tuesday morning. That led to the seizure of several illegal substances including fentanyl, pressed fentanyl pills, cocaine, crack cocaine, meth and ecstasy. The Sevierville and Pigeon Forge Police Departments assisted in this drug task operation along with the 5th Judicial District Drug Task Force. Sheriff Michael Hodges says multiple arrests are expected to be made regarding this drug operation. He says more information will be released as it becomes available.
