Second Harvest Food Bank Helped Over 268 Households
The Second Harvest Food Bank’s food distribution in November helped many Cocke County residents that are in need. Through the donations of generous citizens and groups. that food distribution on November 16th served 268 households in Cocke County and 737 individuals. Most of those individuals were the most vulnerable among the population…children and seniors. The distribution of those food donations wound up supplying over 8,000 meals for the month for needy families in the county. The next food distribution in Cocke County with the Second Harvest Food Bank will come just in time for Christmas on Wednesday, December 21st.
