Sevier County Inmate Charged After Drug Exposure Incident
One person has been charged following an investigation into suspected drug exposure at the Sevier County Jail. On Tuesday, The correctional center’s staff began investigating after noticing a gathering and unusual behavior in one of the female housing units. Correctional officers mentioned they had observed signs consistent with potential drug exposures. Those who were potentially affected by the exposure were transported to a local medical facility for evaluation and treatment. All of the inmates affected are said to be in stable condition. On eof the inmates, 39-year-old, Keely Blair Fisher, was arrested following a preliminary investigation. She now faces charges of introduction of contraband into a penal facility as well as criminal conspiracy. The Sevier County Sheriff’s office says further charges could be filed.
