Sevier County Schools Name Interim Director

Sevier County has a new director of schools…at least for now. Tuesday night, former principal of Sevier County High School Stephanie Huskey was named interim director of schools after the resignation of former director Jack Parton last month. Huskey has been with the Sevier County school system in various capacities since 1994. She will be paid a salary of $150,000 a year to finish the current school year. The Sevier County School Board will start the search for a permanent director in the spring.
