Silver Alert For Missing Greene County Man

The TBI silver alert for a Greene County man remains active this morning. That silver alert is for 73 year old Edwin Bowen. The Greene County Sheriff’s office says Bowen had been spoken to on April 11th, but he and his vehicle were gone on April 14th. The last time anyone saw Mr. Bowen was Thursday April 13th. Authorities say that he could be driving a 2001 green Dodge 1500 van. That van has a Vietnam Veteran plate on it with the tag number 7V744. Edwin Bowen is a white male, 5′ 9″ tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. The Greene County sheriff’s office says Mr. Bowen has a medical condition that could hinder him from making it back home safely. Anyone with information is being asked to call 1-800 TBI-FIND.
