Skipscanning

2 individuals were issued citations at Newport Walmart on Wednesday for 2 separate incidents of skipscanning. Shortly after 7pm, officer Andy Oliver responded to Walmart for a shoplifter. He made contact with loss prevention who stated Taylor Parrott skipscanned $30.74 worth of merchandise at the self checkout. A few hours later, Officer Oliver responded again and was told by loss prevention that Gale Heffren skip scanned $15.98 worth of merchandise. Both individuals were issued a citation.
