Slab Cafe’ Victim Of Theft

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office responded to a theft at the Slab Cafe’ in Del Rio on Sunday 9/21. The owner stated as he was cooking on the grill, he watched an unknown female grab a full case of Cereal Pre-roll THC joints and run out of the store. The unidentified female subject then jumped into the driver seat of a 2007 Toyota Camry with a NC license plate registered to a woman in Asheville, NC. The woman then headed east on Hwy 25-70 towards North Carolina. The value of the product stolen was $300.
