Stolen Camper Found

A camper that had been stolen out of Virginia has been recovered in Cocke County. The Scott County Virginia Sheriff’s office had contacted the Cocke County Sheriff’s office saying that a Thor Club 316 tow behind camper was suspected to be sitting on a property on Country Squire Road in Newport. The Cocke County Sheriff’s found the camper at that location and its VIN number matched the one for the stolen camper. The camper was then towed to a safe location. No arrest has been made in that theft.
