Strange’s Eastport Reports Theft
Strange’s Eastport Service Station reported to police that they had a break-in on their property early Tuesday morning. John Strange stated his work van had been broken into. Officers observed the back passenger window to be broken out. Strange stated his DeWalt tools including two hammer drills, a cordless Sawzall, an impact driver, charger, four batteries, and a flashlight were taken in that theft. They are valued at approximately $600. Strange says the tools should have the initials JBS on them. Officers observed security camera footage at the Exxon which shows a male in a hoodie looking in vehicles with a flashlight at around 2:15 AM which is around the same time the vehicle was broken into. Police have no suspects at this time.
