Suspended License Leads to Narcotics Arrest

Sunday evening Cocke County Deputy Bryce Pickens noticed a man known to have a suspended license driving a motorcycle on West Hwy 25/70…Pickens also know that the rider, Jerry Belcher, Jr. was known for taking narcotics as well. Belcher was pulled over and while searching him, Pickens found two needles and a bag containing .78 grams of heroin. Belcher was arrested for possession of schedule 1 narcotics…the motorcycle was towed.
