Tennessee Lady Vols Drop Out Of Top 25
A once promising season has now unraveled for the Tennessee Lady Vols. February has been a rough month for Kim Caldwell and crew as the team is in the midst of one of the worst stretches, if not the worst stretch in program history. The Lady Vols have lost four straight and five of their past six games. The latest disappointment came Monday when the Lady Vols fell out of the top 25.
Things are not going to be easy for Tennessee to get back on track. They wind up the regular season this week with games against two Top 10 opponents. The Lady Vols travel to Baton Rouge Thursday to take on #6 LSU, then return home Sunday for the regular season finale against #5 Vanderbilt. The Lady Vols are currently 16-10 on the season. So, there is a chance that the Lady Vols could finish the season without 20 wins. Not counting the Covid shortened season, the last time the Lady Vols failed to win 20 games in a season was 1982.
