Tennessee’s Unemployment Site Is Down

If you have been trying to certify your unemployment for the week, but have not been successful, you are not alone. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development says that the Jobs4TN.gov state unemployment site has been offline since Sunday afternoon. The problem is not just with Tennessee though, the issue is with Geographic Solutions, which is the vendor that operates the Jobs4TN.gov site. They are having a network issue that is affecting their operations. That is now having an effect in 36 states…including Tennessee. The state says once the site is back online claimants will be able to complete certification. Lump sum payments will be made for any delays in processing. Also, once the system is back online, anyone who needs to file a new unemployment claim will have to wait for further instructions on how to apply.
