THP To Hold Checkpoints

The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be having a bigger prescence in Cocke County next week. Starting on Sunday and continuing through next week, the THP will be having drivers license and safety checkpoints on state highways 160 & 32 in Cocke County. THP troopers will be concentrating their efforts on finding drivers that are on the road without a valid drivers license. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that these checkpoints are an effective tool in finding those who are not following Tennessee’s drivers license laws, along with protecting other lawful drivers.
