Three Arrested For Skip Scanning At Wal-Mart

Three people were arrested at Wal-Mart in Newport over the weekend. The three individuals were caught by Wal-Mart loss prevention skip scanning items. Arrested were 47 year old Lisa Carter, 20 year old Hallie Burns, and 32 year old Matthew Malott. According to Wal-Mart, the three had scanned and paid for $113.42 worth of merchandise but skip scanned $540 worth of merchandise. Lisa Carter had previously been trespassed from Wal-Mart. All three were arrested for burglary and theft.
