TN Division Of Forestry Accepting Tree Seedling Orders
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry’s East Tennessee Nursery is now accepting tree seedling orders. The ordering period is open till March 15, 2026 or while supplies last. More than two dozen tree and shrub seedlings are currently available for reforestation and conservation projects.
The East Tennessee Nursery cultivates millions of native trees and shrubs every year and then they sell those seedlings in bulk to public, nonprofit, and private organizations. However, individuals can also buy these seedlings for their property. There are numerous types of oak trees to choose from as well as sycamore, hickory, pecan, and even a hybrid chestnut.
There are numerous programs available for financial assistance for those buying in bulk. You can get more information about those programs at visit www.tn.gov/agriculture/forests/
