Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day…time to get out your green…and the Tennessee Highway Transportation Safety Office says it’s a good time to remember to buckle up. The transportation safety office is sending out reminders to drivers to wear their seatbelts on the day of the Irish. According to statistics, between 2020 and 2021 every 3 hours, 28 minutes and 14 seconds someone who was not wearing a setabelt was injured or killed in an automobile crash in the state of Tennessee. They say wearing your seat belt can reduce your chances of fatal injury by 45%. So the Transportation safety office is saying for St. Patrick’s Day…Don’t Press Your Luck…Buckle Up.
