Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges
A traffic stop turned into drug charges for 25 year old Dustin James. He was a passenger in the vehicle which was pulled over for expired tags. The driver gave consent for the vehicle to be searched and on the passenger side where James was sitting, police located a brown pouch containing a plastic baggie which held 2.78 grams of Methamphetamine. While searching James’s orange backpack, another brown pouch was found that contained a cut straw commonly used to snort narcotics and a set of scales commonly used to weigh narcotics. Also inside the backpack was a key ring with two metal containers, They contained 30 mg Oxycodone pills. James was arrested and charged with possession of meth with intent to sell.
