Traffic Stops Leads To Large Drug Seizure
A traffic stop led to the seizure of a large amount of drugs on Sunday. The Cocke County Sheriff’s office says, 37 year old April Stokely was pulled over after the sheriff’s office received a drug complaint. Inside Stokely’s vehicle, deputies found 11.2 ounces. They also found approximately 23.7 grams of fentanyl laced heroin and $695 in cash. Stokely is being charged with Driving while in possession of methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule II (meth) for resale, Possession of Schedule I ( fentanyl laced heroin) for resale and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
