Tuesday Morning Crash Involves Stolen Car
A 2002 Nissan Xterra that was involved in a one vehicle crash in Morristown early Tuesday turned out to be stolen. Noelle Caudill had wrecked that vehicle Tuesday morning when she told police she was traveling southbound on Buffalo Trail when she claims to have fallen asleep at the wheel, crossed into the northbound lane then off the roadway and hit a brick mailbox. On Wednesday, 52 year old Randell Williams found it was his vehicle that was involved. Williams told police he did not know the vehicle was missing until he learned of the accident. He stated that Caudill had taken the vehicle without permission. Noelle Caudill, who was also found to be in possession of narcotics has not been arrested at this time for vehicle theft as that investigation is continuing.
