Two Arrested In Domestic Assault

Newport police were called on Tuesday night to the Family Inn on West Hwy 25/70 about a domestic disturbances. Officers arrived to fine 32 year old Tiffany Dunn bleeding from the head. She told police her husband 48 year old Eric Dunn had smalled her onto the ground causing a laceration to the back of her head…knocking her unconscious. Officers spoke with Eric Dunn who stated that they were arguing and Tiffany threw a phone at him causing a physical altercation…in which he stated she fell to the floor cutting her head. Unable to determine the primary aggressor, both Eric and Tiffany Dunn were arrested and charged with domestic assault…Tiffany Dunn refused medical treatment.
